Facebook and Twitter integration

We currently have facility to integrate Facebook into the forum and the people that create the software for the forum are currently working to include Twitter integration on the next update. I haven't used it yet, but in theory it should mean that you should be able to seamlessly move between your Facebook and Twitter accounts and this forum.

I will be enabling the Facebook connect feature shortly, and the Twitter connect feature will start as soon as that new version of the forum software is made available.

New Section on the Forum

I've just set up a new section on the forum - and I've called it "Just Because". At the moment it is split into two sections for things that you want to share with us on the forum:

- things that make you laugh (could be something you've seen, a joke, funny YouTube video, TV show etc)
- things that you have found that you really like (could be anything from a good restaurant you've been to, to a new band you've heard - anything you like really)

I've wanted to do something like this for a while but have been holding back because of the spammer problem that we had at one point. And even though we're not having too much of a problem at the moment, I'm not keen for them all to come back, so I thought it would be best to set it up so that you'll need to have made 5 posts elsewhere in the forum before you can post in the "Just Because" section.

So it isn't such a high number that you'll not be able to achieve it, but it should prevent spammers just hitting the forum to fill up those sections with rubbish.
